How did you get to where you are today?
I’ve been fortunate enough to be granted two promotions during my time at the RFU, leading to where I am now.

Why did you join the RFU?
Initially I joined the RFU because it offered me the chance to try a role slightly different to that I had been performing at my previous employer, and that it was fairly local to me which was a great bonus!

What does your role involve?
My main tasks are the preparation of Management Accounts and Financial Statements for some of the RFU’s subsidiary companies.

What do you enjoy most about working for the RFU?
There’s the sense of a common purpose, which everyone strives towards achieving by making their own contribution.

What is your take on Rugby?
I follow rugby more closely now than before I joined the RFU, and my appreciation of the sport and admiration for the people involved, has grown greatly during my time here.

What gets you out of bed in the morning?
I look forward to the camaraderie I enjoy with my colleagues.

What does the future hold for you both at the RFU and your career?
It’s difficult to make predictions in the current economic climate, so all I can do is try to improve myself as an employee for the benefit of the RFU and myself.

Message to prospective applicants…
Simply, good luck, and if successful, welcome aboard.
