Car Parking
As you are all no doubt aware, parking at the Club can be horrendous especially when we have visiting clubs.
Unfortunately, there is only a finite amount of space available to park on and we cannot rely on there being any overflow parking on the training grids. Steps are being taken to improve the layout of the "far" car park so that more space is created but this will only generate a few additional spaces.
The problems that we have can be alleviated to a limited extent by following a few simple guidelines:
1. Do not drive to the club unless you have to.
2. Car share wherever possible.
3. When at the Club, park as "neatly" as possible.
4. Comply with the directions given by parking marshalls when they are on duty.
5. If the Club car parks are full, please park on the Severalls Lane Industrial Park. Do not park on Mill Road or the roads leading from it as this causes congestion and is likely to lead to enforcement by the police and /or Highways authority. Please do not park on the verges along Mill Road as this may lead to action being taken against you.
The Club needs to maintain good relationships with its neighbours, the police and the County Council and your assistance in this respect would e very much appreciated.
