Devon RFU committee structure.
Devon has a Committee which is elected at each AGM. The Devon Union (CB) is headed by the President, who with the President Elect, Immediate Past President, Hon. Secretary, Hon. Treasurer and Hon. Match Secretary are the Officers.
There are a maximum of twelve elected ordinary members who together with the representatives of the Devon Referees Society, Devon Womens RFU, Devon Schools, Students and the Plymouth Combination make up the membership of the CB Committee. A number of life members are also nominated to serve on the committe as is the Devon RFU representative and Rugby Development Officer.
From these members are formed 5 standing committees*, with additional co-opted members, which are then responsible to the County Committee.
*These are Finance & Funding, Rugby Development Partnership, Governance (Competitions and Discipline sub groups), Playing (Senior & Under 20) and Community Rugby (Adult).
The Chairmen of these committees are appointed by the CB Committee and serve on the MB for their term of office.
Other appointments are made to represent the CB on outside bodies as required. All such appointments are made at the first meeting of the CB Committee.

Devon Rugby Development Partnership.
The members of this group are, but not limited to, those who are involved with junior rugby in schools and clubs to the age of 18. The Chairman is appointed by the CB. An Executive Committee is nominated to carry on the work of the RDP. The Executive meets at least four times a year and the RDP general meetings which are in the form of Conferences are held twice a year.

This committee is responsible for administering all competitions from U18 and above, and is the final arbiter in all competition cases and matters arising within the CB.

This committee meets on most alternate Monday evenings at the Dartmoor Lodge, Peartree Cross, Ashburton, and will deal with all matters of discipline within the CB.
