Re: School of Rugby
As ECRU’s School of Rugby prepares to enter it’s second season, there are likely to be opportunities for suitably qualified coaches to join the coaching team in the 2008-9 season and enjoy the benefits of additional coach education in an elite environment.
The SoR curriculum comprises 9 separate coaching modules, which are currently delivered at monthly midweek evening coaching sessions, commencing August/September.
There may be the opportunity for successful coaching candidates to become involved in the preparation of ECRU match squads at U14, U15 and U16.
The positions are unpaid but will provide the successful applicants a unique opportunity to develop their coaching skills through a programme of continuous personal development in conjunction with the RFU and the coaching staff of Northampton Saints and Leicester Tigers, while working with highly experienced local coaches and a group of similarly able young players.
Applicants should hold a minimum of a current RFU L2 qualification or demonstrate the willingness and ability to gain such a qualification in a short time.
Interested parties should email their coaching c.v to nick.pressling@btconnect.com
