Suffolk 7s 2006
The teams involved this year were Ipswich, Hadleigh, Harwich, Stowmarket 1sts & 2nds, Bury, Bury U21's and we also had a side made up of parachute instructors from Wattisham who called themselves Wattisham Warriors.
Wattisham provided the pitch side marquees and Hadleigh the burgers.
The tournament proceeded with two groups of Clubs that played on a league basis that ended up in the following order:-
Group A
Stowmarket 1
Bury
Ipswich
Harwich
Group B
Hadleigh
Bury U21's
Wattisham
Stowmarket 2
Ipswich won the plate competition beating Harwich in the final and Bury beat Stowmarket 1 in the main final.
Thanks to the Suffolk and North Essex Referees who provided four referees who did a great job and to Hadleigh for the smooth running of the event.
