SUFFOLK SEVENS
The 2008 Competition was held at Ipswich YM RFC. Congratulations to John Winders and the Ym for hosting another excellant days rugby. The competing teams were:
Bury St Edmunds
Ipswich YM
Colchester
Hadleigh
Sudbury
RAF Wattisham
After the group stages and semi finals a Bury U23 side and RAF Wattisham progresed to the final.
With a strong fijian influence in their side, Wattisham started as favourites but the young Bury side threw the form book out of the window to win 38 - 0 in a stunning finale.
