Insurance
In this section you can find details of the insurance cover provided by the RFU for those participating in rugby union for the following areas:
- Personal Accident Insurance while playing rugby union
- Public/Products Liability Insurance
- Employers Liability Insurance
- Referees and Coaches Liability Insurance
- Directors and Officers Insurance
This cover applies to any RFU affiliated club playing within RFU regulations. Other teams must complete the ‘One-off match’ form (PDF 53kB) and pay a £35 administration fee payable to the Rugby Football Union. The cheque and form should be sent to Rugby Football Union Tournaments & Competitions Department, Rugby Football Union, Rugby House, 200 Whitton Road, Twickenham TW2 7BA. This form can be found here.
For further details on how your club can become affiliated to the RFU or information about hosting an RFU approved event at your rugby club, contact your local Rugby Development Officer (RDO).

Other rugby club insurances
