CB Rugby Development Partnership (RDP)

• Plan, agree and implement a strategy for Rugby Development for all players within CB
• Report to the Management Committee
• Plan a co-ordinated annual Rugby Development programme for CB that incorporates the CB Rugby Development Officers (RDOs) work programmes in accordance with RFU and CB Strategic Plans
• Plan, agree and implement the strategy for Rugby Development for all players within CB and involve all partners, agencies and stakeholders in the game, including clubs, schools, students and referees and ensure that the plan is delivered and that it conforms with regional and national programmes
• Manage the agreed CB budget for the RDP
• Monitor progress of its Junior (U7-U18) RDP, Adult (18-24) RDP and Coaching Development Sub Committees against the budget
• Establish and manage an integrated player development and playing programme in accordance with Structured Season that includes all CB Teams
• Establish and maintain a player database and player tracking system
• Co-ordinate potential Elite Player Development Programmes as member of Academy Steering Group
• Confirm recommendations for the appointment of coaches nominated by RDP Coaching Development Sub Committee and managers to all playing squads
• Work in partnership with CB Schools Union and support its activities
• Foster links with Women's Rugby and encourage its development
• Make recommendations for the recruitment, development and retention of: a) Players of all ages, b) Coaches at all levels and, c) Referees (in conjunction with the Referees Society)
