RFU Resources

Publicity is an important part of volunteer recognition as most volunteers would love to have their achievements acknowledged in print.  The RFU has a number of resources which can help publicise the work, events and activities of your valued volunteers.

  • Touchline magazine – Touchline is the official monthly newsletter of the RFU and RFUW. With a distribution of 10,000 copies to all clubs throughout the country, Touchline is a great way to advertise the efforts of your volunteers to the rest of the game.
  • Activate newsletter – Activate is the RFU’s bi-monthly E-newsletter that is sent out to all registered Club Volunteer Coordinators across the country. This publication allows a variety of different aspects of volunteering to be highlighted and news stories to be shared.
  • Community Rugby Ezine – The Ezine is distributed to all registered club officials on the RFU database. Providing clubs with information about funding and resources that are available to assist clubs, the Ezine helps volunteers keep up to date with useful information to support their clubs.
  • Volunteer@therfu. com – our dedicated e-mail service is designed to provide support and answer all your rugby volunteering questions.
