Training and Support for Rugby Volunteers

The RFU has a wide range of support for both your club and volunteers' training needs.  Specific training can be found in the following areas:

Many organisations provide support for volunteers.  Below are a few that have information that is relevant for rugby volunteers:

  • Runningsports - offer a range of workshops specifically designed for sports volunteers.  They also provide top tips, case studies, quick guides, work books, and more.
  • County Sports Partnerships - have funding from Sport England to develop coaches, volunteers and the general workforce in sport. 
  • Directory of Social Change - an independent charity that provides essential information and training to the voluntary sector.
  • Volunteering England - offer a wealth of publications, information sheets and good practice for anyone who work with volunteers.
