- England Sevens beat Kenya 33-12 to win the Adelaide Bowl
- England look to add points to their World Series tally this Friday at the Hong Kong Sevens before their home event
England Sevens have won the Adelaide Bowl beating Kenya 33-12 adding four points to their tally ahead of Friday’s Hong Kong event (26-28 March).
England recovered from the disappointment of losing two pool matches against USA (24-21) and Australia (17-12) by winning all of their matches on Sunday beating Papua New Guinea 47-0 and France 19-0 before taking the Bowl trophy from Kenya.
Ben Ryan’s side fall to fifth place in the IRB World Series and will be looking to boost their tally this Friday at the Hong Kong tournament before their home event, the Emirates Airline London Sevens on May 22 and 23.
Samoa cut New Zealand’s lead to just two points after winning the Adelaide Cup, Fiji are third with Australia in fourth place, eight points ahead of England.
England face Hong Kong on Friday night before taking on Japan and Wales on day two of the Cathay Pacific Credit Suisse Hong Kong Sevens.
