England Saxons

The Saxons provide an exciting opportunity to gain first hand knowledge on the best young players coming through the ranks of English rugby. Despite essentially acting as England’s second team, the standard of the 32 man squad is still incredibly high, boasting high profile players such as Danny Cipriani, Lewis Moody and Paul Sackey.

Ex-Leeds Carnegie's director of rugby Stuart Lancaster is in charge of the Saxons and he describes the role as a “once-in-a-lifetime opportunity allowing me to work and coach at the top end of the international game, developing senior and young players alike to play for England.”
