During the London Sevens, more entertainment is packed into Twickenham stadium than during any other event.

On the pitch, there’s over 12 hours of side-stepping, break-making, high-octane rugby.

Cheerleaders, bands and big screen entertainment keep the tempo up between games and around the stadium live music ensures you’re never far from the action. Stay in the stands for on the spot prizes for fancy dress and you could also be a lucky winner in one of the many competitions to win great prizes.

All the stadium bars are of course open, as are a huge range of food and snack outlets to help keep your energy and enthusiasm up!

To give you a taste of what to expect at Twickenham during the Sevens weekend, here is what fans were treated to at the 2011 event:

  • Cheerleaders –  A key part of the Sevens entertainment was the presence of the International All Starzz Cheerleaders who strutted their stuff on and off the pitch
  • Batala – Batala Liverpool play a unique style of samba originating from Salvador, Brazil and known as Samba-Reggae
  • Band in the Stand – The band were back at Twickenham for the Sevens party and made a lot of noise supporting our boys in the North and South Stands across the weekend
  • O2 pitchside priority – Throughout the day, lucky fans were chosen to kick back and relax in the pitchside O2 Blueroom. They enjoyed a free pie and a pint delivered straight to them whilst receiving a relaxing massage in the best seats in the house
  • HSBC Beach Hut - Free refreshments for HSBC customers in the exclusive lounge
  • Face Painting - Complimentary face painting courtesy of HSBC
  • One lucky fan won a trip to the Emirates Dubai Sevens courtesy of Emirates Airline.
