Through their specialist knowledge and technical expertise, they will guide and support internal colleagues, field-based staff, Constituent Body representatives, clubs, schools and other key stakeholders to execute the tactical implementation of Kids First Rugby, ensuring children are engaged in an appropriate and attractive game that encourages them to not only start but to stay with rugby through to adulthood.
The Kids First Development Manager will be required to build strong cross-functional relationships with stakeholders to help drive and guide the rollout, while in turn, ensuring the quality of existing opportunities and developing new innovative solutions to address common challenges at both local and national level. They will help build competitive opportunities, a trained workforce of deliverers and a set of support resources for the Kids First age group.
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate strong, practical experience of the strategic development and operational workings of the sport, along with solid experience of rugby in clubs and education. They will possess experience in a leadership role with proven ability to articulate an overall function strategy to others and translate it into successful working practices.

For the right candidate, the RFU offers competitive benefits, a culture built on solid core values and an opportunity to join an organisation that is extremely dedicated and passionate about the work that they do.
