Baildon RUFC is a community rugby club situated on the outskirts of Bradford. Founded in 1912, the club runs three senior teams and has a thriving mini/junior section. We own our own clubhouse and have two senior pitches, one of which is fully floodlit for training purposes. Recently the club has enjoyed huge success on the pitch. In the last three years the club has won the RFU National Junior Vase (2011-12) and the Yorkshire Silver Trophy (2011-12). This season the club again reached the final of the RFU National Junior Vase and succeeded in gaining promotion to Yorkshire Division 2 for the first time in its history. The club is forward-thinking, ambitious and committed to improving rugby at all levels throughout the club.
The club wishes to appoint a long-term coach to help continue its recent success and also help with the identification and recruitment of further coaching staff with the purpose of improving rugby at all levels of the club.
An exciting opportunity for an ambitious, enthusiastic and hard-working individual to work with a talented and committed group of players.
Applicants for the post should hold ideally RFU level 3 coaching certificate although applicants with level 2 would be considered.
Hours: approximately eight hours per week. Tues/Thurs evenings approximately two hours per session. Saturday: supervision of 1st team approximately four hours.
The successful applicant will work closely with the Chairman of Rugby and will be required to help identify and recruit further coaching staff to help the club create qualified coaching supervision at all levels.
