Bath Rugby Academy is pleased to offer a strength and conditioning internship for the 2014/15 season.
The intern will be a fully integrated member of the Bath Rugby strength and conditioning team for the course of the season, working day-to-day within an elite rugby union environment.
Through a programme of professional development and daily tasks, the intern is expected to develop the requisite theoretical and practical skills to help them gain full-time employment as an applied strength and conditioning practitioner.
The role is based at Farleigh House, Bath Rugby’s training ground, with travel required to key partner organisations within the Bath Rugby Academy region.
This internship is suitable for an enthusiastic and highly motivated university graduate, who has achieved a 2:1 in a BSc (Hons) Sport Science degree and has some previous experience in the area. Applicants must have a strong desire to pursue a career in strength and conditioning.
A budget for expenses and CPD is offered. We feel this is an excellent opportunity for an individual to develop their professional skills and gain experience working in an elite environment at a state of the art training facility.
