The RFU believes that rugby is a game that can be played by everyone, and there is an increasing interest in women’s rugby, from grass roots to the elite team.
Women’s rugby as a sport has gone from strength to strength over recent years and participation is currently at an all time high.
Everyone is welcome to join in and the RFUW is responsible for encouraging more girls than ever before to play and learn about rugby. Through its projects and programmes, the RFU actively drives the growth of girls and women participating in the sport.
