3rd pitch now operational. Scrum machine serviced and ready for use by all squads.
New changing rooms in use by other sports (Cricket in the main) during summer months.

Youth and Junior section - our future
The Club intends to commit resources to re-establish its Youth and Junior section.
Part of this commitment is the co-funding of a CRC (Community Rugby Coach) for the Walsall Area inconjunction with Walsall Rugby Development Group, the RFU and other local clubs.
However, the club will rely heavily on the goodwill, time and effort of volunteers and parents.

Play On
The Club will be participating in the "Play On" campaign after taking part in the very succesful 'Go Play Rugby' initiative.

Time Commitment : Weds evening training & selection panel (7pm to 9:30pm) and Saturday afternoon (noon to 6pm)
Remuneration : To be discussed, more like beer money really.....) Coaching Course subsidy available
Qualifications : RFU level 2 or level 1 working toward level 2 (or higher)
Qualities : Must be willing to work with selection panel and lower teams. Will need strong character
Be able to delegate aspects of squad training to club volunteer coaches, where appropriate
Other roles
Equipment and Kit Officer (EKO) - ensures decent kit for games & training (cones, balls, scrum machine etc.)
Grounds person - responsible for pitches, posts and playing surfaces (pitch marking, crowd barriers)
The responsibilities are pretty straight forward but need input from the potential volunteer.
