Your Rugby Club Commercial Sponsorship Committee needs your support. If you own your own company or you are in a position of influence with your employer to persuade them to sponsor Bury St Edmunds Rugby Club, we would ask if you or they are willing to sponsor a Pitch-side Advertising Board.
Out of 700 members, only 42 members or companies sponsor the club commercially; we should be able to increase this number significantly. You will appreciate that the minis, youth and club overheads are large and sponsorship closes the expenditure gap.
We are a non-profit making organisation and every year we reinvest in our facilities. This year we need to sponsor the cost of spending £3000 on fencing for the new mini pitches, £12000 on floodlights, £10000 on underground water sprinklers, and we need to spend a further £10000 on the main pitch floodlights, replacing the obsolete lights.
Rugby is a life-long enjoyment and well worth supporting. The cost of a Pitch-side Advertising Board is £300 + vat per year rental. The artwork and the cost of manufacture are included in this price. If you claim this cost through the company advertising budget, you will be able to claim a 40% tax rebate.
