This is the club site for Wandsworthians RFC based in New Malden in Surrey. Originally known as `Old Wandsworthians RFC' because of our association with Wandsworth High School, the club was established in 1929, which makes this our 80th Anniversary Season!!
We're a friendly club with a strong social scene (see the `Social Events' or `Latest News' pages), and have a real mix of players from original school leavers to a strong contingent of ex-Kings College students and quite a number of antipodean travellers looking for a temporary home! We tour every year, either in Europe or the UK - the odd game of rugby does get played but the emphasis tends to be on 'cultural issues' of course.
We run two regular teams and are always looking for new players - age and ability are no impediment! If you live or work anywhere near Kingston, Surbiton, Wimbledon, Wandsworth, Clapham, Battersea etc you are very close to us by road or rail.
We are based at the Kings College London Sports Grounds in New Malden in Surrey, a great facility with two high-quality pitches, a floodlit training pitch, clubhouse and bar - please see the `How to Find Us' page for details and directions.
Training in season is every Tuesday night at 7.00pm at the club with professional coaching - see Latest News for details.
