In August 2007, the England Rugby Supporters Club, in association with O2, launched the England Rugby Wall of Support.
The project was created to give England Rugby fans from all over the world a chance to show their support for the team in a unique and permanent way.
Over 1500 photos were sent in, and these were compiled to make the final Wall which was unveiled before the RBS 6 Nations 2008 against Wales (2nd February 2008). The final image was voted for by ERSC members throughout December 2007, and the ERSC chose the photo that best represented fans’ photos and that summed up support for the team.
Jason Leonard OBE officially unveiled the Wall to a large audience. The Wall is in the middle of the lower concourse of the new South Stand.
