Where Does My ERSC Money Go?

As an ERSC member you are helping to develop English rugby at all levels.

The RFU is committed to building the future of rugby in England, which means that 100% of all profit made from each ERSC membership is invested straight back into the game. The RFU invests approximately £19million a year into English rugby. This has helped to improve access and standards at every level for the benefit of all participants:

• Rugby development in schools continues to grow, with 4,000 coaching sessions now taking place each month in primary and secondary schools, further and higher education colleges and clubs
• 3,500 newly qualified coaches at levels 1-3 and Club Coaching Coordinators are now in 70% of clubs with mini sections
• 1,600 new adult players
• 1,200 new volunteers
• More than 50 social inclusion programmes have engaged disabled people, minority ethnic groups and young people from inner-city and rural areas
• Standards on the pitch have improved, with a 51% increase in the number of referees undertaking the Entry Level Refereeing Award
