With supporters arriving from all over the country and across thw world, match days at Twickenham are always a great combination of emotion, enjoyment and camaraderie; highlighting many of the core values that make our game so great: teamwork, respect, sportsmanship, discipline and enjoyment.
We encourage all supporters attending the QBE Internationals to get to the stadium early to soak up the unique atmosphere that Twickenham offers. The new West Fan Village in the west car park will be bubbling away from 11am with rugby anthems, classic highlights of games on the big screen, interviews and features with the players and coaches and to top it off, there is some fantastic food and drink to choose from. This weekend, following the England v New Zealand match, we will be showing Ireland v Australia on the BMW big screen, with the game kicking off at 5.45.
This weekend the West Fan Village will be open for three hours post match, so there is even more time to enjoy the post-game celebrations or share the what if and what could have been moments with friends and family.
The QBE Brass Band
To kick things off as soon as you get off the train, you will be greeted by the QBE Brass Band at Twickenham Station. With a mixture of classic and contemporary songs, it will be a great way to warm up the vocal chords. And this season sees the exciting new addition of the QBE bandstand in the west car park, where the band will be playing from 11am to welcome the teams on arrival.
