NATIONAL THREE NORTH
Leaders Nuneaton entertain an improving Cleckheaton side who are up to ninth in the league table.
Nuneaton will be eager to get back into action after a two week break and make it four out of four in the league at Liberty Way this season in the league.
With three wins in their last four league matches, all three were at home, Cleckheaton have improved their league position but they have lost both their away matches at Blaydon and Fylde.
PREDICTION: Home win by eight points.
Second placed Blaydon travel to second bottom New Brighton looking to keep the pressure on the leaders.
Blaydon are looking for a sixth successive league win since they lost on the second Saturday of the season to Bradford & Bingley, their only defeat of the season. Their only other away match this season saw them win a North East derby at Darlington Mowden Park.
New Brighton have lost six out of seven with their only win coming in a home match against Hull Ionians, since then they have lost four league matches in a row.
PREDICTION: Blaydon to win by nine points.
Third placed Preston, travel to the Midlands to tackle seventh placed Leicester Lions.
Preston were narrow winners last week over Darlington, by a single point, as they bounced back form a disappointing loss at Hull Ionians the week before.
Leicester Lions were beaten at Fylde last Saturday but at home have a good record, They have two wins and a draw with only Nuneaton leaving Westleigh Park with a win this season in the league.
PREDICTION: Away win by seven points for Hoppers.
The game of the day sees fourth placed Tynedale travel to fifth placed Darlington in a North East derby.
Tynedale are on of the form sides in the league at the moment wining five of their last six with only a five point loss at leaders Nuneaton going against them. On the road they have won two and lost two this season but the two defeats were against the top two sides in the table.
Darlington are kicking themselves over last weeks loss at Preston where they out scored Hoppers four tries to two and left without the win although they did pick up two bonus points.
They have won all three matches at Blackwell Meadows this season but this will be their toughest test yet.
PREDICTION: Tynedale to sneak an away win by four points.
In a Yorkshire derby sixth placed Bradford & Bingley travel to 12th placed Hull Ionians looking to get back to winning ways after Powergen National Trophy action last week against Exeter.
Ionians have won two matches at home already this season with victories over Kendal and Preston Grasshoppers.
Bradford & Bingley have won five out of six this season with their only defeat coming at struggling Macclesfield.
PREDICTION: The Bees to take an away win by seven points.
Eighth placed Darlington Mowden Park travel to bottom of the table Kendal looking to maintain their improved recent form.
Kendal are still looking for that first elusive win after suffering seven successive defeats and four of those have been at Mint Bridge.
Darlington Mowden Park have improved of late with successive home wins after losing at home to second placed Blaydon.
They have played twice away from home this season winning a North East derby against Tynedale but losing at Cleckheaton badly 29-5.
PREDICTION: DMP to leave Mint Bridge with a four point win.
10th placed Fylde travel to 11th placed Macclesfield knowing the Cheshire side will overtake them if they win.
Fylde have lost all three matches on the road this season so will need a change of luck to take the points from Macclesfield.
Macclesfield have two wins and a draw at home this season with only Leicester Lions leaving with the win.
PREDICTION: Fylde to sneak a five point win.
