NATIONAL THREE SOUTH
Second placed Cambridge entertain Westcombe Park looking to keep their winning run going and the pressure on leaders North Walsham who they travel to in the next round of matches.
Cambridge are just a point behind the leaders now and are going for a fifth consecutive win in the league since losing at Havant in early October. At home they are unbeaten winning all four matches.
Westcombe Park have just one away win this season a 28-21 win at Holme Park against Reading.
PREDICTION: Cambridge to win by 12 points.
Leaders North Walsham entertain Lydney who will be keen to get last weeks home loss against Cambridge out of their system.
North Walsham need to bounce back from a second successive away defeat but their form at Scottow this season has been impressive. They have won all four matches scored over 40 points in each match and picked up the four try bonus point.
Lydney have not done too well on the road this season with just one win form three matches a big win at bottom of the table Bracknell whilst losing at Westcombe Park and Havant.
PREDICTION: North Walsham to triumph by 10 points.
Third placed Havant travel to 12th placed Reading looking to keep in touch with Cambridge.
Havant have not done to well on the road this season losing two of their three matches so far at Bracknell and North Walsham although they did win at Hertford. They have though won five of their last six matches to climb the National Three South league table.
Reading have won two out of three at Holme Park with wins over Southend and Bracknell although they came unstuck against Westcombe Park going down 28-21.
PREDICTION: Havant to win by seven points.
Fifth placed Bridgwater & Albion to South West rivals Cinderford looking to maintain their recent good form.
Albion have won all three of their league matches since losing at home to North Walsham in early October and scored over 30 points in each of them. On the road this season they have already won at Havant and Old Patesians.
Cinderford after winning two of their opening four league matches have slumped to four successive defeats in the league. At home they have managed just one win a 21-16 defeat of Reading.
PREDICTION: Home win for Albion by eight points.
Sixth placed Rosslyn Park are at home to four placed Dings Crusaders who are going well at the moment.
Park have climbed up the table recently on the back of three successive wins after managing just one win in their opening three matches of the campaign.
They have played just twice at home this season winning both matches.
Dings Crusaders have yet to win on the road this season having lost all three league matches but they have picked up losing bonus points in each one of them.
PREDICTION: Home win by six points for Park.
Ninth placed Hertford travel to 10th placed Old Patesians knowing if they loss Old Pats will move above them in the league table.
Hertford will be looking to build on last weeks surprise win over leaders North Walsham which ended a three match losing run. They have played away just twice so far this season winning at Bridgwater but were well beaten at Dings Crusaders.
Old Patesians have won two out of four at home so far this season with victories over Rosslyn Park and Dings Crusaders but came unstuck against the West Country pair of Cinderford and Bridgwater & Albion.
PREDICTION: Hertford to edge it by five points.
11th placed Southend entertain bottom of the table Bracknell with both sides in need of points to try and climb the table in National Three South.
Southend have only played twice at home in the league this season and won both matches, against Rosslyn Park and Old Patesians. Their other win was on the road at Cinderford where they ran out 47-14 winners.
Bracknell have managed just one win form their eight league matches and are seven points of the safety zone. Their only win was back in September when they were narrow one point winners over Havant in a low scoring match 11-10.
PREDICTION: Southend to win by six points.
