Cambridge v Lydney
Leaders Cambridge, face in form Lydney at home his Saturday in one of their most difficult remaining fixtures.
Cambridge were given a run for their money by Cinderford although they did come out on top 19-13 but failed to pick up the four try bonus point and allowed North Walsham to narrow their lead to four points at the top of the table.
At home this season they have a 100% record with only Bridgwater & Albion and Rosslyn Park leaving with losing bonus points.
Lydney need to win here if they are going to have a chance of catch one of the top two. They are joint top of the Form Guide with six wins along with Cambridge although they have left it late in their last two matches to sneak wins.
On the road they do not have the best of record with four wins and a draw in nine matches.
Cambridge were winners at Lydney earlier in the season 27-20 and remain the only side to leave Regentsholme with a victory this season.
PREDICTION: Both sides playing well but got to go Cambridge by 12 points.
Cinderford v Westcombe Park
11th placed Cinderford entertain fifth placed Westcombe Park looking to get some consistency back and move even further clear of the relegation zone.
Cinderford are an unpredictable side who on their day can give anyone a game but too often don’t hence their league position. They are at the wrong end of the Form Guide with two wins in their last six but will be buoyed by pushing leaders Cambridge all the way last Saturday ending up with a losing bonus point.
At home this season they have an appalling record with just three wins in nine compared to five wins on the road.
Combe after a great winning run have slipped too successive defeats and now find themselves seven points behind fourth placed Rosslyn Park.
On the road they have a poor record and have managed just three wins in nine matches with wins at bottom three sides Old Patesians and Reading and a win at Southend.
When the sides met earlier in the season it was Combe who ran out winners 37-24 at Goddington Dene.
PREDICTION: Cinderford to come through and beat Combe by five points.
North Walsham v Hertford
Second placed North Walsham entertain ninth placed Hertford looking for a fifth consecutive win to keep the pressure on leaders Cambridge.
North Walsham narrowed the gap on leaders Cambridge last week picking up all five points at Havant whilst Cambridge failed to get a four try bonus point at Cinderford.
They have a 100% record at home winning all 10 matches and have picked up the try bonus point in six of them.
Hertford are at the wrong end of the Form Guide with four successive defeats to drop down the table. They are though 12 points clear of the relegation zone.
On the road this season they have actually managed to pick up four wins in nine matches although they have managed just one bonus point when scoring four tries at Bracknell.
When the sides met at Hertford earlier in the season the home side ran out winners in the lowest match of the season 5-3.
PREDICTION: Home win for North Walsham by 12 points.
Old Patesians v Havant
Second bottom Old Patesians entertain eighth placed Havant looking to pick up a win as their home fixtures run out.
Second bottom Old Patesians are running out of matches to close the gap on the teams in the safety zone who are now 12 points ahead of them in the table. After this fixture they only have two home fixtures left against Lydney and Reading.
At home this season they have picked up just three wins in 10 matches against Bracknell, Dings and Rosslyn Park.
Havant are also at the wrong end of the Form Guide with just one win in their last five matches. What they have got this season is more bonus points than any other side with 16 to date. They have picked up losing bonus points in eight on their 11 defeats this season. They have also picked up eight four try bonus points which is the fifth best record in the division.
Earlier in the season at Hooks Lane Havant ran out 42-28 winners over Old Patesians.
PREDICTION: Havant to return to winning ways with six point win at Everest Road. .
Reading v Dings Crusaders
Third bottom Reading are at home this Saturday to 10th placed Dings Crusaders looking to get last weeks thrashing at Bracknell out of their system.
Reading would have gone to Bracknell last week looking to pick up a win and put some pressure on the sides immediately above them in the league table. A win would have put them within six or seven of the sides above them but in the end they left with nothing conceding seven tries.
In recent weeks they have slipped and are bottom of the Form Guide as the only side without a win in their last six matches. A win here though would put them within striking distance of Dings with six matches to go. Defeat especially with both Cambridge and North Walsham still to come to Holme Park would leave them in serious trouble.
Ding Crusaders returned to winning ways last week after a three match losing run and a win here would put them 15 or 16 points clear of their opponents.
On the road this season they have not done well and lost all nine matches, one of three sides yet to win on the road, picking up just four bonus points.
Dings Crusaders thrashed Reading when the sides met at Lockleaze earlier in the season 53-13.
PREDICTION: Dings to win at Holme Park by five points but could go either way.
Rosslyn Park v Bracknell
Fourth placed Rosslyn Park entertain bottom of the table Bracknell looking to maintain their good recent form.
Park are third in the Form Guide with five successive wins and picked up a superb 33-0 away win at Bridgwater & Albion last Saturday.
At home they have an excellent record with eight wins out of nine and only leaders Cambridge have left with a win.
Bracknell ended a dreadful losing run last weekend with a convincing win over Reading to end a 16 match losing streak dating back to September.
They have not won on the road this season losing all 10 matches and managing just two bonus points with narrow defeats at Dings and Hertford.
When the sides met earlier in the season Rosslyn Park were winners 26-10.
PREDICTION: Home win for Park over Bracknell by 12 points as they continue their good spell.
Southend v Bridgwater & Albion
Seventh placed Southend entertain sixth place Bridgwater & Albion on Saturday knowing a win would take them above them in the table.
Southend ended a four match losing run last Saturday with a great result winning away at in form Westcombe Park and closed to within two points of Bridgwater in the table.
At home they have five wins and a draw in their nine matches scoring over 40 points in three of those wins.
Bridgwater & Albion were well beaten last Saturday at home to Rosslyn Park going down 33-0 and have lost four of their last five to be at the wrong end of the Form Guide.
On the road this season they have the second best record in the division with five wins in 10 matches and picked up an impressive nine bonus points the most by any side on its travel this season.
When the sides met earlier in the season Bridgwater & Albion ran out 30-18 winners.
PREDICTION: After last weeks results got to go home win by six but Bridgwater & Albion can surprise anyone on their day.
