Terrace Talk - National Two

Halifax v Henley Hawks

10th placed Halifax entertain ninth placed Henley Hawks this Saturday looking to maintain their improved home form.

Halifax have climbed out of the relegation zone thanks to their improved home form which has seen them win their last five since losing to Baring at the end of November.

Overall at home this season they have picked up six wins in ten matches.

A win for Halifax would see them move above the Hawks in the table.

The Hawks are looking for a third straight win in the league after a poor run which saw them lose six on the bounce and drop down the table.

On the road they have managed just three wins in nine matches although they have also picked up losing bonus points at Manchester and Moseley.

Henley Hawks were comfortable 47-5 winners at Dry Leas earlier this season, their highest score of the season.

PREDICTION:  Halifax to win by six points.

Orrell v Redruth

Bottom of the table Orrell are at home this Saturday to sixth placed Redruth who will be looking to close the seven point gap on fifth placed Barking.

Orrell are looking to end an 11 match losing run stretching back to the 12th November when they beat Barking at Edge Hall Road.

At home this season they have managed three wins in their ten matches to date but have lost four in a row since the Barking win.

Redruth are the lowest scorers in the top half of the table, picking up just two four try bonus points all season but they do have the third best defensive record.

On the road this season they have a poor record with just two wins in their nine road trips to date winning at Harrogate and Stourbridge.

When these two sides met earlier in the season at Redruth Orrell gave them a run for their money going down narrowly 13-10 picking up one of just two losing bonus points on the road.

PREDICTION: Redruth to win by seven points.
