The Welsh have moved rapidly up the table in recent weeks and go into the game looking for a fourth successive win and to make it five in the last seven and could if the results went their way move into the top half of the table. .

The Pirates have slipped a little of late with three defeats in their last five matches but a win here would make it two in a row as they look to try and claw back the seen points they have fallen behind Bedford Blues in the league table.

When the sides met down in Cornwall earlier in the season the Pirates ran out comfortable winners 53-8.
