In at the Corner - National Three South

Cinderford 16 (Try: Trigg. Con: Trigg. Pens: Trigg 3.). 

Bracknell 7 (Try: Vernon. Con: Berti.). 

Cinderford returned to winning ways with this home win over bottom of the table Bracknell.  

The home side went ahead when full back Daniel Trigg went over for a 22nd minute try and slotted over the conversion to make it 7-0 in what was the only score of the first half. 11 minutes into the second half Trigg made it 10-0 with a penalty goal before Bracknell hit back with a try of their own just after the hour mark. It came form wing Jamie Vernon and Sebastian Berti converted it.

Trigg sealed the win for the home side with two penalty goals in the final 10 minutes.

 

Southend 45 (Tries: Frost, Legge 2, C Green, Powell, Lewis 2. Cons: Frost 4, Johnston.). 

Dings Crusaders 28 (Tries: Leadbeater, Fincken, Gasson, Bufton. Cons: Williams 4.). 

Another home match in which Southend pass the 40 point mark. They were on the scoreboard in the 3rd minute when full back Andy Frost went over for a try and added the conversion for 7-0.

Dings responded soon after with two tries and found themselves 14-7 ahead after 13 minutes after full back Gary Leadbeater and hooker Paul Fincken touched down and Iestyn Williams added the conversions.

By half time the home side were back in front with tries from flanker Daniel Legge and centre Chris Green and Frost converted both and they lead 21-14. 

14 minutes into the second half the visitors were level with scrum half Waylon Gasson going over and Williams converted.

Southend then took control of the match with four tries to move into a 45-21 lead with two of the tries coming from left wing Tyson Lewis.
