Bridgwater & Albion v Bracknell
Seventh placed Bridgwater & Albion are at home to bottom of the table Bracknell this Saturday.
Bridgwater & Albion gave Cambridge a run for their money last Saturday before going down 25-17 at home.
They are at the wrong end of the form guide with just one win in their last five matches and are now 11 points behind sixth placed Southend in the league table.
At home they have managed five wins in 11 matches and wins here and against Havant would see them finish with a positive home record.
Bracknell are already relegated and playing for pride and would like to try and get a couple of wins before the season ends.
They have yet to win on the road and have lost all 11 matches.
When the sides met at Bracknell earlier in the season Albion were 24-0 winners.
PREDICTION: Bridgwater & Albion to win by 15 points.
Cambridge v Old Patesians
Second placed Cambridge will be out of all five points as they chase leaders North Walsham with a home win over second bottom Old Patesians.
Cambridge need to pick up all five points on offer as they look to pull back the point they dropped at Bridgwater & Albion last Saturday as they dropped to second place in the league table.
They have the easier run in than North Walsham with away games at Bracknell and Reading after this game.
Old Patesians are vying with Reading to avoid the second relegation spot and this may not be the match to get the points they need might just be a damage limitation game.
They are looking to avoid a fifth defeat in six matches.
When the sides met at Everest Road earlier in the season Cambridge were convincing 57-12 winners.
PREDICTION: Cambridge by 15 points.
Cinderford v Havant
11th placed Cinderford are at home to eighth placed Havant knowing a win could them then up to tenth place in the table.
Cinderford are at the wrong end of the Form Guide with just two wins in their last six matches.
At home this season they have been disappointing with just four wins in 11 matches whilst managing five wins on the road.
Havant were beaten at home last Saturday by Southend despite out scoring them three tries too one.
In the Form Guide they have not done to well of late with just two wins in their last six although last Saturday’s defeat saw a two match winning run come to an end.
Cinderford are looking to do the double over Havant having already won 25-18 at Hooks Lane earlier this season.
PREDICTION: Cinderford by six points but could go either way.
Reading v North Walsham
Leaders North Walsham travel to relegation threatened Reading knowing if they can pick up maximum points in their three remaining games the National Three South title is theirs.
Reading need to find at least a win in their next three matches to keep in front of Old Patesians as they look to avoid a relegation spot and it will probably have to come when they meet at Everest Road next Saturday as their other match is against second placed Cambridge.
North Walsham will be out for all five points against Reading and keep their destiny in their own hands.
They are on a good unbeaten run at the moment and the Form side in the division as they go in search of their 14th four try bonus point of the season.
North Walsham were 33-18 winners when the sides met earlier in the season.
PREDICTION: North Walsham by 15 points.
Rosslyn Park v Lydney
Fifth placed Rosslyn Park entertain third placed Lydney who they trail by five points in the table with three games remaining.
Park after back to back defeats returned to winning ways at Hertford last Saturday.
At home they have a good record with nine wins in 11 matches and only Cambridge and Havant have left with wins.
Lydney after a couple of defeats have recovered with back to back wins including a 44-0 win over Reading last Saturday.
On the road they have a reasonable record with five wins and a draw from their 11 matches.
Lydney won a low scoring affair when the sides met at Regentsholme earlier in the season 13-3.
PREDICTION: Tough call but will go with home win.
Southend v Hertford
Sixth placed Southend entertain 10th placed Hertford looking to continue their winning run.
Southend are looking for a sixth consecutive win which is the second best run in the division after leaders North Walsham.
At home they have won seven and drawn one of their 11 matches to date.
Hertford are at the wrong end of the Form Guide with just one win in their last six matches.
On the road they have picked up four wins form 11 matches.
Southend thrashed Hertford at Highfields earlier in the season 48-10.
PREDICTION: Southend to win by 12 points.
Westcombe Park v Dings Crusaders
Fourth placed Westcombe Park entertain ninth placed Dings Crusaders knowing they could end the day in third place if Lydney lose at Rosslyn Park.
Combe have been having a great second half of the season and are looking for a fifth win in their last six matches which has seen them climb the league table.
Dings have picked up of late to climb the table and move away from the relegation zone with the win last Saturday over Cinderford making it four wins in five matches. .
Dings would love to repeat their success when the sides met at Lockleaze earlier in the season and they won 34-24.
PREDICTION: Combe to win comfortably by 12 points. |
