Blackheath v Orrell

 

12th placed Blackheath, finish off their season with a home match against bottom of the table Orrell.     

 

Blackheath after two defeats in their last three would like to finish the season with a win at the Rectory Field and depending on the result could move up the table.

 

Orrell after back to back wins have slipped to four successive defeats in recent weeks.

 

Blackheath were winners when the sides met at Edge Hall Road earlier in the season, 31-21

 

PREDICTION: Blackheath to win by 12 points.         

 

 

Esher v Harrogate

 

Third placed Esher entertain second bottom Harrogate looking to finish on back to back wins after some disappointing recent results.     

 

After suffering the three defeats that took them out of the promotion race Esher will be hoping to finish the season with back to back wins.

 

Harrogate after a good run of three wins and a draw have slipped to two defeats in their last two matches and will be keen to finish the season with a win.

 

Esher were narrow 14-13 winners when the sides met at Claro road earlier in the season.

 

PREDICTION: Home win by 14 points.       

 

 

Launceston v Barking

 

Fourth placed Launceston entertain seventh placed Barking as they look to have their best ever finish in the league structure.     

 

Launceston will be keen to return to winning ways after defeat last time out ended a run of three wins and a draw.

 

Barking after a great first half of the season have slipped of late and are staring a sixth straight defeat with a loss at Polson Bridge this Saturday.

 

Barking were 42-30 winners in a high scoring match on the opening day of the season.

 

PREDICTION: Home win for Launceston by eight points.       

 

 

Manchester v Moseley

 

Sixth placed Manchester look to finish the season with a win over Champions Moseley at Grove Lane.   

 

Manchester will be looking to finish the season with a hat trick of wins after a reasonable second half to the season.

 

Moseley will be looking to maintain their excellent winning run and finish the season with a win and make it 24 wins from 26 matches.  

 

Moseley were 27-8 home winners when the sides met earlier in the season.

 

PREDICTION:  Moseley to finish season with a win at Grove Lane by 10 points. .       

 

 

Stourbridge v Halifax

 

Ninth placed Stourbridge entertain 11th placed Halifax knowing a win could see them climb a place in the table.     

 

Stourbridge are in third place in the Form Guide after four wins in their last six matches and a win here will make it four wins in a row to finish the season.

 

Halifax after a good run of form have slipped in recent weeks and with four defeats in their last five and a defeat here will see them end the season with four straight defeats.

 

Stourbridge are looking to do the double over Halifax having won 22-19 in Yorkshire earlier in the season.

 

PREDICTION: Stourbridge to win by 10 points.         

 

 

Waterloo v Henley Hawks

 

Runners up Waterloo will be looking to sign off from National Two rugby with a home win over 10th placed Henley Hawks at Blundellsands.     

 

Waterloo are looking to maintain their excellent recent form with an 11th home win of the season.

 

Henley Hawks have won two of their last three after suffering a run of defeats and moved into the top 10 in the table.

 

Henley Hawks gave Waterloo a run for their money at Dry Leas when the sides met earlier in the season before going down to a narrow 16-13 defeat.

 

PREDICTION: waterloo to win by 12 points.         

 

 

Wharfedale v Redruth

 

Fifth placed Wharfedale will be looking to consolidate their league position with a win over eighth placed Redruth at Threshfields.     

 

Wharfedale are looking to end the season in style with four successive wins which have helped them climb to fifth in the table.

 

Redruth are bottom of the Form Guide with just a draw and five defeats in their last six matches in the league and a defeat here would see them finish the season with fife successive defeats.   

 

Redruth were comfortable winners when the sides met down in Cornwall earlier in the season, 29-8.

 

PREDICTION: Wharfedale to win by 10 points.
