| Jason Leonard has been elected to serve as a member of the Rugby Football Union Council.
Leonard, England’s most capped player and Rugby World Cup winner in 2003, was elected as a national member at today’s RFU Council meeting at London’s Hilton Hotel.
Simon Halliday was re-elected as a national member at the same meeting and outgoing national member, Jeff Probyn, and Cambridge University representative, Richard Moon, are to become privilege members of the RFU.
John Vale (Surrey) and Nigel Gillingham (RAF) were re-elected as Council representatives to the RFU Management Board. |
