Comfortable away win for Tynedale who take all five points and increase their lead at the top of the table to five points. They were ahead after 14 minutes with Andrew Murray touching down and Phil Belgian converting. He added a penalty goal four minutes later and when he converted a second Murray try on 22 minutes they were 17-0 ahead. They got a third try just before half time with right wing Cameron Johnston touching down and Belgian again on target to make it 24-0 at the break.
Cleckheaton did manage the first score of the second half with fly half Owen Edwards touching down and adding the conversion.
Tynedale secured the try bonus point just before the hour mark with full back Will Massey going over to make it 29-7. Johnston completed a double to wrap up the win just after the hour mark.

Blaydon picked up the win but failed to get the try bonus point and are now five points behind the leaders.
Blaydon went ahead on five minutes with winger Andrew Fenby going over for a try and a 5-0 lead. Five minutes later Darlington were in front with second row Andrew Harston going over and Charlie Rayner converting and then adding a penalty goal to make it 10-5.
23 minutes into the second half Blaydon were back in front with centre Martin Shaw going over and James Kyle converted to make it 12-10. Kyle added a penalty goal 10 minutes later as Blaydon took the win but are now only two points clear of third placed Preston Grasshoppers.

Comfortable away win for Hoppers at Hull Ionians after a tight first half.
Karl Birch Put the home side ahead with a 5th minute penalty goal. Three minutes later Hoppers were in front with right wing Owen McKenna touching down. Birch put over two more penalty goals to make it 9-5 after 24 minutes. Hoppers regained the lead on half time with full back Oliver Viney going over to make it 10-9.
The second half saw Hoppers do all the scoring running in four tries with Viney going on to complete a double and move onto 13 tries for the season.

Leicester Lions moved eight points clear of the relegation zone with this excellent home win over Fylde out scoring them four tries to one. .
They did the damage in the first half building up a 17-0 lead with full back Gareth Collins bagging a brace after centre Will Twelvetrees went over for the opening score on 14 minutes.
John Armstrong put over a penalty goal early in the second half to get the visitors off the mark. On 48 minutes the Lions secured the try bonus point with left wing Chris Woods touching down.
Fylde did finally manage to cross the home try line with their prolific try scoring winger Nock Royle touching down.

A bad defeat for Rugby who are chasing a top two finish as Macclesfield pick up five valuable points to move eight points clear of the relegation zone.
James Hawken put the visitors ahead with an early penalty goal on five minutes but the lead lasted just a minute.
Prop Scott Goodfellow went over for a try and Charlie Winney converted.
10 minutes later prop Tristan Wati gave the Lions the lead again with a try which Hawken converted.
Just before the half hour mark the home side were level with Winney putting over a penalty goal. Hawken gave the visitors the lead again late in the half with a penalty goal and extended the lead in the opening minute of the second half with his third penalty of the day to make it 16-10.
Winney pulled three points back with a penalty goal before a try double from right wing Adam Mursal and Winney converting them both they were 27-16 ahead after 55 minutes. Debutante wing Nick Wilding got the fifth try three minutes later to make it 3216.
The Lions did manage a late try with No 8 Thomas Booth touching down but it was too late and the home side had the win.

It took till the 37th minute for the opening score with left wing Matt Callaghan going over for a try which Glen Boyd converted. They got a second before the break with full back Scott Evans going over and Boyd again converted to go in 14-0 ahead.
Three minutes into the second half Morley went in for a third try with scrum half Scott Benton touching down and Boyd again converted.
Park got off the mark on 56 minutes with replacement Matt Clarke going over for a try to pull five points back. They got another try with No 8 Mark Williams going over and Neil Ryan converted and when he added a penalty goal on 67 minutes to get within a score of the home side at 21-15.
Three minutes later Boyd put over a penalty goal to go nine points clear and wrap up the match.

Darlington Mowden Park moved within two points of fifth place Fylde with this away win at Edge Hall Road. Michael Breen gave the visitors the lead with a penalty goal on eight minutes but Orrell replied with two penalties form Siy Makhaza slotted them over. To make it 6-3 after 23 minutes. Four minutes later and DMP were back in front with the games opening try as Breen went over for a try to lead at half time. Centre Gareth Kerr went over for a try for DMP nine minutes into the second half and this time Breen converted to make it 15-6. Makhaza pulled three points back for Orrell but Breen replied with one for the visitors before centre Ben Snook sealed the win with a try which Breen converted. |
