Canterbury did everybody a favour with this comfortable home win against leaders Southend.
James Reilly gave the home side a 6-0 lead with two penalties in the opening 13 minutes. Centre Pat Sykes got the games opening try a minute later and Reilly converted. Four minutes later it was 20-0 with winger Andy Pratt going over and Reilly adding the extras.
Gert De Kock got the next two tries as Canterbury went into a 34-0 lead after 41 minutes with the bonus point secured.
Southend did manage three second half tries but with Reilly adding another ten points for the home side with a try conversion and a penalty Canterbury were winners.

Havant remain fifth after this home win over Cinderford. .
Cinderford took the lead in this match with Daniel Trigg putting over a penalty goal. Havant were ahead on 26 minutes when wing Cameron Avery went over for a try and with prop Stuart Ingram getting a second home try in added time at the end of the half they led 10-0.
In the opening minute of the second half flanker Dylan Raubenheimer went over but they had to wait till the 72nd minute with left wing Chris Brember going over to secure the try bonus point.

North Walsham 17 (Tries: Gowen (19), McCall (35), Penalty try (77). Con: McNulty.
Just what the doctor ordered as Hertford ran out comfortable winners over North Walsham to move six points clear of the relegation zone.
It was all level at the break with the sides going in 10 all. The home side went ahead on nine minutes when winger Johannes Schmidt went over for a try and Kieron Davies converted North Walsham responded with a couple of tries to take the lead with full back Adam Gowan and hooker mark McCall scoring unconverted tries. Davies put over a late penalty goal to tie the scores.
In the second half Schmidt went on to complete a double and centre Philip Ellis ran in a brace to build up a 31-10 lead after 69 minutes. Both sides got tries in the final few minutes as Hertford took the five points on offer.

Lydney bounced back form last weeks defeat at Bridgwater & Albion with a convincing home win over an in form Clifton. .
The home side took the lead early on when lock Paul Kiely went over for a try and Adam Westall converted. Westall and Clifton’s John Barnes then exchanged penalty goals before Westall put over another penalty goal and converted three tries as Lydney built up a 34-3 half time lead. Prop Stephen Price and the centre’s Craig Jones and Ali McLoughlin were the try scorers.
In the second half the home side ran in three more tries with Jones completing a double and others for scrum half Lee Thomas and flanker Dean Jenkins.
Old Patesians 32 (Tries: Walton (21), Pettigrew (35), Nock (58), Walton 2 (66, 77). Cons: Nock 2. Pen: Nock (42).
Chinnor 10 (Tries: Carter (9), Hewitt (49).
Old Patesians picked up all five points as they ran in five tries against bottom of the table Chinnor.
Centre Jake Carter gave the visitors the lead with a 9th minute try.
Old Pats were in front in 21 minutes when scrum half Chris Walton went over for a try and Robert Nock converted for 7-5.
Five minutes before half time OP extended their lead with No 8 James Pettigrew going over to make it 12-5 at the break.
Nock extended the lead with a penalty goal early in the second half. Chinnor full back Ben Hewitt got the visitors back in touch with a 49th minute try. But Old Pats ran away with it with tries from Nock and two more from Walton who went on to complete a hat trick.

Huge home win for Park which puts them six points clear of the relegation zone.
Centre Martin Ridley gave the home side the lead in the 5th minute and Richard Mahony converted for 7-0.
Mahony added a penalty goal on 14 minutes to make it 10-0. A minute later second row Danny Hodge went over for Albion but late in the half Park went 17-5 ahead with prop Tim Heenan going over and Mahony adding the extras.
Mahony increased the home sides lead with two penalties in the third quarter to make it 23-5. Albion got their second try on 59 minutes and Marshall Milroy converted.
Park went three scores clear when hooker Adam Blemings went over but Albion got the final score of the match with flanker Owen Biggins converting.

Comfortable ten try win for Combe who close to within two points of leaders Southend who were beaten at Canterbury.
Leading the way was right wing Sam Naden with six tries having only scored one try all season before Saturday. They scored five tries in the first half to go in 29-5 ahead. Left wing Sam Greenaway was again on the scoresheet for the home side to move onto 14 for the season. For the visitors centre Chris Wright Hyder got a double. |
