Terrace talk - National Three South

Canterbury v Clifton

Fifth placed Canterbury entertain third bottom Clifton looking to return to wining ways.

Canterbury were beaten last time out as their wining run came to an end at Bridgwater & Albion. They are now three points behind both Havant and Lydney in the table.

At home this season they have a good record with eight wins from ten matches and only Havant and Westcombe Park have left with wins.

Clifton after a good little run have slipped to three straight defeats and need to find a win from somewhere to close the gap of six points on Hertford and safety.

On the road they have not done well with just a win and a draw form 11 matches to date this season. The win came at Hertford and the draw at North Walsham.

When the sides met at Clifton earlier in the season Canterbury left with a 30-10 victory.

Prediction: Home win for Canterbury by 12 points against Clifton.

Havant are one of the form sides in the division at the moment with five wins six matches as they look for a fifth straight win.

They trail second placed Westcombe Park by nine points which is probably too much for them to make up in six matches but stranger things have happened.

North Walsham are going through a real bad patch at the moment with three straight defeats and could well drop to seventh place after the weekends matches.

When the sides met a Scottow earlier in the season North Walsham ran out narrow 11-8 winners in a low scoring match.

Prediction: Havant home win by eight points over out of form North Walsham. .

At Everest Road they have a poor record with just four wins in ten matches to date this season.

Dings Crusaders are only six points form the relegation zone and will see this as a good opportunity to pick up a rare away win.

On the road they have a dreadful record losing all ten matches so far this season.
