Pertemps Bees v Otley    

 

Eighth placed Pertemps Bees take on 14th placed Otley with the Yorkshire club looking for a win to try and climb away from the relegation zone.

 

The Pertemps Bees have found some form recently and picked up three wins in their last four matches.

At home this season they have six wins in 13 matches after a poor first half of the season at Sharmans Cross.

 

Otley are at the wrong end of the Form Guide with just one win ion their last six matches as they look to avoid a fifth straight defeat.

On the road they have a poor record this season with 11 defeats in 13 matches.    

 

The Pertemps Bees were narrow 11-7 winners when the sides met earlier in the season at Cross Green in a low scoring match.

 

Prediction: Home win for the Bees by nine points over Otley.               

 

 

 

Coventry v Leeds Tykes    

 

Leaders Leeds Tykes travel to ninth placed Covnetry looking to consolidate top spot in National One.  

 

Coventry are in a good run of form at the moment with three straight wins behind them in the league  

At home this season they have managed seven win in 12 matches.

 

Leeds Tykes are five points clear at the top of the table with four matches remaining as they look to continue their winning run.

On the road this season they have nine wins and a draw in 12 matches this season.

 

Leeds Tykes were 34-0 at Headingley earlier in the season when the sides met.

 

Prediction: Away win for Leeds Tykes by 12 points at the Butts Arena.               

 

 

 

Exeter Chiefs v Doncaster    

 

Seventh placed Exeter Chiefs take on third placed Doncaster at Sandy Park looking to return to winning ways.  

 

Exeter Chiefs had their winning run brought to an end last time out going down at league leaders Leeds Tykes.

At home this season they have won nine and drawn one of their 12 matches to date.

 

Doncaster are looking for a fourth consecutive win as they look to consolidate third place.  

On the road this season they have done well winning nine of their 13 matches to date.

 

Doncaster were 24-11 winners when the sides met earlier in the season.

 

Prediction: Home win for the Chiefs over Doncaster by five points.               

 

 

 

London Welsh v Cornish Pirates    

 

12th placed London Welsh take on 4th placed Cornish Pirates at Old Deer Park looking to return to winning ways.

 

The Welsh have improved recently with two wins in their last two matches.

At home this season they have not been in the best of form.    

 

The Pirates are near the top of the form guide with four wins and a draw in their last six matches as they look to close the gap on third placed Doncaster.

 

The Cornish Pirates were comfortable 41-13 winners when the sides met earlier in the season.

 

Prediction: Away win for the Pirates by 10 at Old Deer Park over London Welsh.               

 

 

 

Newbury v Waterloo    

 

11th placed Newbury take on bottom of the table Waterloo on Saturday looking to return to winning ways.

 

Newbury have lost three of their last four matches but will see this as a perfect opportunity to return to winning ways.

At home this season they have managed just four wins in 11 matches.

 

Waterloo have the worst losing run in the division with six straight defeats since winning away at Moseley in early January.   

On the road they have a poor record with just two wins in 13 matches with victories at Exeter Chiefs and Moseley.

 

Newbury were 49-20 winners at Blundellsands earlier in the season.

 

Prediction: Home win for Newbury by 12 points over Waterloo.               

 

 

 

Plymouth Albion v Moseley    

 

Fifth placed Plymouth Albion take on relegation threatened Moseley looking to build a winning run.   

 

Plymouth Albion are looking to make it back to back wins and close the five point gap on fourth placed Cornish Pirates.

At Brickfields they have won ten and lost just once all season.

 

Moseley are in need of a win as they try and overhaul third bottom Otley and avoid the drop to National Two.

On the road they have managed just one win in 13 matches.

 

Plymouth Albion were comfortable 50-5 when they went to Moseley earlier in the season.

 

Prediction: Home win for Albion by 12 points over Moseley.              

 

 

 

Earth Titans v Bedford Blues    

 

Championship chasing Earth Titans take on fifth placed Bedford Blues at Clifton Lane this Saturday.  

 

The Titans were disappointed to draw last time out and fall further behind  league leaders Leeds Tykes. They will be looking on their good home form to carry them to victory over the Blues.  

 

The Blues have been in good form recently with four wins in their last five matches and have closed the gap on fifth placed Plymoputh Albion to six points.  

 

Earth Titans were narrow winners at Goldington Raod earlier in the season in a high scoring match 34-32.

 

Prediction: Home win for the Titans over Bedford Blues by eight points at Clifton Lane.              

 

 

 

Nottingham v Sedgley Park    

 

10th placed Nottingham entertain 13th placed Sedgley Park at Meadow Lane on Sunday looking to return to winning ways.  

 

Nottingham have been out of form recently going down to four straight defeats. At home this season they have seven wins in 13 matches to date.

 

 

Sedgley Park returned to winning ways last time out to end a three match losing run and are all but safe from the threat of relegation with both Otley and Moseley both needing to find some amazing turnaround in form to catch them.

 

 

Sedgley Park were winners 22-19 when the sides met at Park Lane earlier in the season.

 

Prediction: Home win for Nottingham at Meadow Lane over Sedgley Park by eight points.
