The Blues were ahead on 12 minutes with a James Pritchard penalty goal. They went 8-0 ahead on 21 minutes with full back Emyr Lewis going over for the games opening try.
Nottingham were on the board on 31 minutes with Tom Barlow putting over a penalty goal in the last of the scoring in the first half.
Penalties form Ross Broadfoot and Pritchard edged the home side 14-3 ahead after an hour.
Late in the game Nottingham did find their way over the home try line with second row Nick Rouse touching down and Neil Stenhouse added the conversion.

The Titans will be disappointed at not picking up the win and allowing Leeds Tykes to open up a five point gap at the top of the table.
The Titans were 6-0 up after 27 minutes after Gareth Steenson put over a couple of penalty goals.
James Moore pulled one back for the Pirates and when he converted a 39th minute try from No 8 Tim Cowley it was the Pirates who went in 10-6 ahead at the break.
10 minutes into the second half and the Titans were in front again with hooker Neil Hanna going over for a try and an 11-10 lead. The lead lasted just four minutes before Moore put the Pirates back in front with a penalty goal. Three minutes later and the visitors were over for a second try as second row Erik Lund touched down for an unconverted try to lead 16-13.
Just after the hour mark and Moore levelled the scores with a third penalty goal in what turned out to be the final score of the match.

High scoring match with the Bees coming out on top by four points to maintain eighth place in the table picking up all five points on offer.
The visitors went into a 17-0 lead after 31 minutes with tries form second row Kevin Burke and winger James Wellwood and Tom Marks converted both to add to an early penalty goal. Before half time the Bees got on the scoreboard with centre Dave Knight going over and Jon Higgins converted.
Two tries in the opening 11 minutes of the second half saw the home side move ahead with hooker Matt Miles and right wing Reece Spee going over and Higgins converting both for 21-17.
Marks pulled three points back for the Welsh but Higgins responded for the home side before converting the bonus point try form flanker Tom Rawlings on 77 minutes.
The Welsh did manage an injury time try to narrow the gap and claim a losing bonus point.

No bonus point for the Tykes but with the Titans drawing against the Pirates they increased their lead at the top of the table to five points with four matches remaining.
The Chiefs went into an early 10-0 lead with a try from full back Ben Breeze and Tony Yapp converted and put over a penalty goal. Leigh Hinton got the Tykes on the board on 23 minutes with a penalty goal and then converted his own try on the half hour mark to make it 10 all.
On half time flanker Martin Schusterman went over for a try and Hinton converted it to send the home side in 17-10 ahead.
Richard Vasey edged them three points further ahead with a 54th minute penalty goal Left wing Tom Biggs went over for a third home try on 69 minutes to open up a 25-10 lead.
Yapp pulled three points back with a penalty goal. The Chiefs did manage a late try to claim a losing bonus point with flanker Tony Walker touching down.

Albion were away day winners at Park Lane over Sedgley Park picking up all five points on offer to close to within five points of forth place Cornish Pirates.
They were 21-0 up after 21 minutes with tries form scrum half Ed Lewsey, prop Tim Mathias and centre Regardt Van Eyk and van Eyk converted them all. Phil Jones got the home side back in the match with a couple of penalties and a try to make it 21-11 after 36 minutes. Two tries late in the half from Lewsey, completing a hat trick, so the visitors go into a commanding 35-11 lead with van Eyk converting them both.
Park managed a couple of tries in the final quarter but the result was already settled by then.

Moseley got the better start and went 14-0 up in the first ten minutes with tries form scrum half Dan Hunter and right wing Nathan Bressington and Ollie Thomas putting over a couple of conversions.
Doncaster got off the mark with left wing Donovan Van Vuuren going over for a 19th minute try. They were awarded a penalty try on 27 minutes and took the lead on 36 minutes when No 8 Netani Talei went over for a try and a 17-14 lead.
Seven minutes into the second half and it was 17 all with Thomas putting over a penalty goal.
On 51 minutes the home side were 24-17 ahead after Mark Woodrow, a half time replacement went over and Ben Gollings converted. Back came Moseley to level it again two minutes later with centre Andrew Binns going over and Thomas converting.
The winning score came on 73 minutes with Gollings putting over a penalty goal.
The win leaves Doncaster in third place and Moseley still in the drop zone a point behind Otley.

Otley find themselves just one point clear of the relegation zone after this home defeat against Newbury who move up to 11th in the table.
Nick Defty gave the visitors the lead with a 5th minute penalty goal and made it 10-0 with a 20th minute try which he also converted. In first half injury time the home side were on the board with Jon Benson putting over a penalty goal.
Tries from fly half Tim Walsh and No 8 Tom Brown saw the visitors increase their lead to 22-3 after 52 minutes.
Otley got right back in it with tries from full back Ian Shuttleworth and flanker Dan Hyde to make it 22-17 after 69 minutes with Shuttleworth converting both tries.
A late double from winger Martin Nutt saw Newbury home to a comfortable win in the end and left Otley in a perilous position.

But by half time the home side were in front with tries form Payne, completing a double, and prop Jonathan Hopgood, Monro converted them both and they led 21-14. Four minutes into the second half and the visitors were within two points with centre George Dixon going over for an unconverted try.
