Chinnor picked up an excellent win at home to fifth placed Lydney for a rare win this season.

They led at half time 10-0 after centre James Hewitt put over a 12th minute penalty goal and then on 18 minutes converted a try form winger Jake Carter.   

Early in the second half they extended their lead to 18-0 with a try from flanker Adam Beets, and a Hewitt penalty goal on 53 minutes.

Lydney were off the mark on the hour mark with replacement back row man David Emery going over and Adam Westall added the extras.

On 68 minutes the home side got a third try with their other winger Adam White going over and Hewitt converted.

The visitors did manage a second try in injury time with scrum half Lee Thomas going over and Westall converting.

Bridgwater & Albion’s great recent form continued with this comfortable home win over North Walsham running in six tries.

The home side went ahead on two minutes with fly half Christian Wulff putting over a penalty goal.   Three minutes later they went 8-0 ahead after a try form hooker Simon Hafoka. On 13 minutes the visitors were right back into it when second row Sam Herrington went over and Iain Young converted. With half time approaching Albion got a second try with prop Andy Isaac going over.

Six minutes into the second half and North Walsham were in front with a try from winger Young and he added the conversion to make it 14-13.

After that it was one way traffic with the home side running in four unanswered tries to take the win and all five points on offer.
