Singapore Rugby wishes to appoint a Referee Development Manager on a full-time basis. This role will involve:
(a) Taking leadership for all referee functions within Singapore Rugby;
(b) Recruiting referees from schools, clubs and universities;
(c) Organising IRB referee courses and contributing to IRB coaching courses;
(d) Coaching and mentoring existing coaches and managing their competitive programmes;
(e) Meeting specific Key Performance Indicators with regard to improving the standard of refereeing in Singapore at all levels.
Candidates should be experienced referees who have officiated at either elite or sub elite level. They should also possess an IRB Trainer and/or Referee Coach qualification. Candidates should also be able to evidence having successfully improved the standards of other referees.
This is a newly created position the role having previously been part time. Applications will be welcome from candidates who can get a secondment from their current positions but this should be for a minimum of two years. Salary will be in the region of $52k AUD (25k GBP).
