ENGLAND TEAM OPERATIONS MANAGER
Twickenham based
This is a key operational role in support of the England Team Manager (Martin Johnson) and the senior England team. You will be responsible for managing all services and functions required to support the administration and operation of the team in accordance with the England Rugby objectives; the RFU Strategic Plan and the annual Business Plan.
Key responsibilities will include:
To plan, implement and administer the operational arrangements for the senior England team during training weeks, international matches and overseas tours including hotels, travel, training, facilities, kit, etc. to the satisfaction of the England Team Manager.
Ensure, with the England Team Manager and Elite Rugby General Manager, that all administrative functions of the new RFU/ PRL agreement relating to the Senior EPS are properly and efficiently fulfilled.
Manage the administrative functions of the programme within agreed budgets and to the highest quality standards.
Candidate requirements:
Candidates must be highly motivated, adaptable and reliable in providing a first class support service to this senior England team.
Must be able to demonstrate significant experience of working within a high profile organisation in a project management/ event co-ordination role.
Will preferably have experience of working with elite athletes and understand professional high performance sport.
Will demonstrate proven success in effective administrative and logistical planning and support. Strategy implementation and development and budget management are also pre-requisites.
You need to be a team player with first class office management and PC skills, the ability to work under pressure in a proactive and determined manner and be prepared to travel with the England squad for all matches and tours.
