NATURE AND SCOPE OF JOB
The Digital Media Content Coordinator is responsible for the provision of content management support for the website, mobile and other projects associated with rfu.com and other RFU owned and managed websites and digital media properties. They will also be required to train users in the use of the content management system, gather project requirements, produce and send electronic newsletters, analyse website performance statistics and generate reports. The role also requires a degree of ad hoc content management and task co-ordination.
RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Provide content management support for the website, mobile and other digital media for RFU properties
2. Provision of ad hoc advice/ training to content brokers throughout the RFU
3. Escalation of issues, as appropriate
4. Reporting against website performance
5. Analysis of key business metrics in support of business case creation/ validation
6. Analysis of competitor performance metrics
7. Production of basic site graphics
8. Carry out such other tasks as may be required and directed by the Digital Media Manager
9. Management of code and content implementation to prescribed standards
10. Administration: including meeting coordination, report generation
ACCOUNTABILITIES
The job holder is accountable for:
1. Management of digital media projects including provision of appropriate plans, communications, risk logs, resource planning and budget oversight within agreed timescale, budgetary and quality parameters 2. Ad hoc content management 3. Accountability for user experience and SEO compatibility of implemented projects

SALARY: c. £25,000 - £28,000 per annum PAY FREQUENCY: Monthly
HOURS OF WORK: 35 hours per week. Plus additional as required. 9.00 am. to 5.00 pm (Monday to Friday) – some flexibility 1 hour rest break
NOTICE ENTITLEMENT: 1 month

QUALIFICATIONS: • Prince 2 Project Management (Foundation Level) desirable, but not essential • Degree level education or higher desirable, but not essential
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE: • Experience in the Microsoft Office applications essential • Considerable familiarity with advanced use of internet products and applications required • Basic knowledge of HTML required • Knowledge of Flash, Java, XML will be well regarded • Experience in Adobe Acrobat Writer, Photoshop, online statistical reporting tools and email marketing tools desirable • Basic graphic design skills desirable • Experience of management of basic website design and coding will be well regarded • Experience in marketing or promotion will be well regarded • An understanding of Prince 2 project management methodologies desirable
BACKGROUND: • Will live within convenient travelling distance of the stadium • Will preferably already have an interest in sport including rugby union and an awareness of the structure and operation of the game in England • Will be available for occasional overtime
