Digital Media Content Coordinator vacancy at the RFU

DIGITAL MEDIA CONTENT COORDINATOR
WEBSITE DEPARTMENT
TWICKENHAM

The website team within the Rugby Football Union has responsibility for the strategic development and use of new and existing media channels (including our web site) to deliver the maximum impact on revenues, cost levels and communication effectiveness to our multiplicity of customers and members.

We are seeking a Digital Media Content Coordinator to take responsibility for the provision of content management support for the website, mobile and other projects associated with rfu.com and other RFU owned and managed websites and digital media properties.

Key responsibilities will include: 
• Provision of content management support for the website, mobile and other digital media for RFU properties
• Provision of ad hoc advice/ training to content brokers throughout the RFU
• Escalation of issues
• Reporting against website performance
• Analysis of key business metrics in support of business case creation/ validation
• Analysis of competitor performance metrics
• Production of basic site graphs
• General administrative tasks

Candidate requirements:
Candidates should be able to demonstrate the following key attributes:
Essential:
• Experience of Microsoft Office applications
• Considerable familiarity with advanced use of internet products and applications
• Basic knowledge of HTML
Desirable:
• Prince 2 Project Management (Foundation Level) qualification and understanding of associated methodologies
• Knowledge of Flash, Java and XML
• Experience of Adobe Acrobat Writer, Photoshop, online statistical reporting tools and email marketing tools
• Basic graphic design skills
• Experience of management of basic website design and coding
• Experience of marketing and/or promotion
