PUBLICATIONS & RESOURCES ADMINISTRATOR Planning, Funding & Resources Department Twickenham
The Planning, Funding & Resources Department within the RFU deliver a wide range of support mechanisms to the game. Based in Twickenham, reporting to the Administration & Resources Manager, this role will provide a comprehensive administration and support service for the management of communications to the game and provision of a wide range of resources for Community Rugby, Tournaments & Competitions, Funding & Finance and others.
Key responsibilities will include: • Administration of communications to the game including Community Ezine, Touchline, and additional mailings for delivery programmes, according to a tight schedule. • Collation and formatting of information in conjunction with key stakeholders for the RFU Handbook and the RFU Yearbook. • Maintenance of stock levels for all items relating to course administration for Coaching, Refereeing, First Aid, Child Protection, etc. • Purchasing of printed material to support delivery programmes. • Day to day management of the designated fulfilment house. • Processing distribution of stock items for use in the support of delivery programmes. • Liaison with suppliers to ensure that all orders meet requirements and deadlines. • Raising of invoices and re-charging to the appropriate departments.
Candidate requirements: Candidates should be able to demonstrate the following key attributes: • Must have experience in a position of responsibility and be able to work without close supervision • Should understand the importance of developing excellent customer relationships both internal and external stakeholders • Must be able to work under pressure, working within tight deadlines • Must demonstrate a thorough approach to work, with a keen eye for detail • Should have strong organisational skills • Must have a positive approach to both work and life • Will be highly competent in using Microsoft Office suite applications
