The excitement of the Rugby World Cup being played out on TV screens across the land means that many young people are eager to try the sport for the first time.

England’s unprecedented success and number 1 world ranking leading up to the tournament estimated to bring with it a potential 20% increase in participation levels.

The RFU is meeting this with a nationwide campaign which will coach youngsters and fast track new players into local rugby clubs.

The ‘RWC Come & Try It’ tour will visit 58 locations, giving youngsters aged 13 – 16 the chance to experience rugby union with specialist training from RFU qualified coaches.
