Esher have had an up and down season to date and suffered with injury problems and the lack of a front line goal kicker after losing both Emile Wessels and Jonathan Gregory over the summer, both were outstanding kickers and could quite often win matches with their kicking.
Esher do not have a good record in this fixture with just two wins from eight matches although they have come in the last three meetings. At home they have won the last two against the Yorkshire side who last won there in February 2002 17-13.
