Much needed win for the Welsh with this narrow away win at Goldington Road to move them out of the bottom two and two points clear of second bottom Henley Hawks. .
The home side went ahead in the 2nd minute when Leigh Hinton slotted over a penalty goal. Flanker Ben Lewitt went in for a try in the 10th minute for an 8-0 lead.
The Welsh went n for a try on 22 minutes with winger John Swords touching down. Before the break Hinton added a second penalty goal to see the Blues go in 11-5 ahead.
Dylan Pugh kicked the Welsh level with penalty goals in the 45th and 59th minutes.
Bedford went back in front on 66 minutes with prop Soane Tonga’uiha going over for an unconverted try. But Pugh with two more penalty goals gave the visitors the win, he kicked the first on 71 minutes and won the match in injury time with his fourth penalty goal.

Bristol returned to winning ways after back to back defeats with this away win at Pertemps Bees.
There was just one score in the first half with hooker Neil Clark going over for a try in the 5th minute which went unconverted and the home side went in 5-0 ahead.
In the second half Mark Woodrow added penalty goals in the 46th and 56th minutes for 11-0.
Replacement prop Saul Nelson got the second try on 67 minutes and the finals core came on 73 minutes with winger Marko Stanojevic going over for a converted try to seal the win with his 10th try of the season.

Plymouth Albion 25 (Tries: Pritchard, Hopkins, Schusterman. Cons: Pritchard 2. Pens: Pritchard 2.)
Coventry shared the points with Plymouth but will be kicking themselves for allowing the visitors to pull back a 12 point deficit in injury time.
The home side went ahead with prop Adrian Olver going over in the 23rd minute and Jon Higgins converted. They went further ahead on 37 minutes when winger Pila Fifita went over and they were 12-0 ahead. Albion did manage to pull three points back before the half time with a James Pritchard penalty goal.
In the second half Pritchard went over for a try on 50 minutes and added the extras to get back to within two points. On the hour mark Coventry went further ahead with scrum half Shaun Perry touching down and Higgins again converting. Pritchard pulled three points back with a penalty goal but when Richard Davies slotted over penalties in the 74th and 78th minutes they were 25-13 ahead.
After that the visitors got two tries in injury time with replacement prop Ryan Hopkins touching down and Pritchard converted. They then got another try through replacement flanker Martin Schusterman and Pritchard could not convert to snatch a most unlikely of wins.

Flanker Nathan Bland gave the visitors the led with a third minute try which went unconverted as Otley led 5-0.
Just before the break the home side were of the mark with Ben Honeyben dropping a goal.
In the second half Honeyben kicked the home side ahead but the lad only lasted a few minutes before Otley were back in front at 10-6 with prop Justin Wring touching down on 48 minutes.
Simon Binns who had missed both the conversion took the visitors further ahead with a penalty goal for 13-6. Honeyben added a couple more penalties but the home side were narrow one point winners to move up to fifth place in the National League table whilst the Hawks dropped a place with London Welsh winning at Bedford. .

Excellent home win for Nottingham to keep them ahead of London Welsh and Henley Hawks.
Nottingham were ahead on four minutes with flanker Nick Fitisemanu touching down and Ben Thompson converted for a 7-0 lead. The only other score of the half was a try for Rotherham from second row Opeta Palepoi to go in two points down.
Two minutes into the second half and the home side got their second try with lock Craig Hammond going over for a try and Thompson again converted for 12-5. They went further ahead on 56 minutes with prop Tonga Lea’aetoa touching down for a 19-5 lead.
Rotherham did manage to close the gap and pick up a losing bonus point with a try four minutes into injury time as centre Peter Jorgensen touched down and Anthony Elliott converted.

Exeter Chiefs 36 (Tries: Richard Baxter 2, Thomas, J Fatialofa, Davis. Cons: Yapp 4. Pen: Yapp.)
Leaders Exeter Chiefs took the five points but not after been given an early scare.
Orrell started the better and found themselves 20-5 ahead after 23 minutes with tries form No 8 Phil Davis and centre Hugh Perrett, both were converted by James Moore who also slotted over a couple of penalty goals whilst Hayden Thomas got a try for the Chiefs.
No 8 Richard Baxter got the second Chiefs visitors and with Yapp converting this time they went in 20-12 behind.
In the second half it did not take them long to get in front with Baxter getting a second try and Junior Fatialofa also touching down and they were 26-20 ahead and the four try bonus point in the bag.
Prop George Davis got the fifth try and Yapp converted before Orrell stemmed the tide with centre Chris Briers touching down before Yapp sealed the win with a penalty goal.

Park gave the Pirates a run for their money before the home side secured the win late on in the match.
Park were first on the scoreboard with winger Richard Welding touching down in the opening minute and a 5-0 lead. The Pirates responded and six minutes later they were in front with flanker Iva Motusaga going over and Tom Barlow converted. They went further ahead six minutes later with wing Gerard Arasa going over and Barlow converted.
Park got back to within two when full back Arno De Jager went in and Blair Feeney converted. Just before the half hour mark home scrum half Gavin Cattle went over for the third home try to lead 19-12 at the break.
Four minutes into the second half and the visitors were level with Welding completing a double and Feeney converting.
The lead lasted six minutes before the Pirates went ahead again with a try from centre Duncan Murray and replacement Lee Jarvis converted.
Park refused to go away and three minutes later were all square with centre James Naylor going over and Feeney converted. In the 73rd minute Penzance went ahead again with flanker Joe Bearman touching down, Feeney pulled three points back with a penalty goal before they sealed the win in the 80th minute with right wing Matt Jess touching down. |
