England's National Academy looking to add to coaching team

 

NATIONAL COACHES

ENGLAND NATIONAL ACADEMY

The RFU Performance Department is looking to add to our team of world class National Academy coaches to work under the direction of Brian Ashton (National Academy Manager).  We are looking for coaches who have the ability to coach a specialist skills area and also be able to coach England representative teams to the highest level.   As part of our elite coaching programme you will liaise closely with Andy Robinson’s  senior team of specialist coaches and will be responsible for mentoring, coaching and developing potential England international players.  You will deliver specialist player and coach development sessions.  As an elite team coach you will prepare various England teams for success in international competitions.

You must have detailed technical and tactical knowledge, excellent coaching skills and be able to demonstrate significant experience of playing and / or coaching at an elite level. Current coaching experience or success as an elite player with coaching ambition is a pre-requisite.

You will be a team player with world class coaching potential; excellent people management skills; the ability to work under pressure in a proactive and determined manner and able to travel with England Squads on all away fixtures and tours. Excellent communication skills are essential and basic IT skills would be an advantage.
