Kendal were narrow winners in this home fixture over Tynedale and have moved within three points of the North East side.
The only score of the first half was a try for the home side through right wing John Ladell which was converted by Dan Stephens for a 7-0 lead.
Stephens got the opening score of the second half with a penalty goal two minutes in. Three minutes later though and Tynedale were back in the game with a touchdown form right wing Ben Duncan converted by William Massey.
Kendal went two scores ahead again in the 65th minute when second row David Preston touched down and Stephens again converted.
Tynedale were back to within three points in the 75th minute when Duncan completed a double and Massey again converted in what turned out to be the final score of the match. .
Fylde 12 (Tries: Evans 2. Con: Green.)
Bradford & Bingley 23 (Tries: Volshenk, P Greaves, Nau. Con: T Rhodes. Pens: T Rhodes 2.)
Bradford & Bingley made a great start to this match and when they scored their third try in the 23rd minutes they were 17-0 ahead and the four try bonus points looked just around the corner. There were tries for second row Renier Volshenk, centre Philip Greaves and left wing Nau and Tom Rhodes added a conversion. That though as the end of the Bees try scoring for the day and they failed to gain the four try bonus point.
In the second half Rhodes slotted over an early penalty goal but Fylde got a try in the 47th minute when right wing Mark Evans touched down and Paul Green converted. Evan got a second try in the 54th minute and the home side were eight points adrift.
Just before the hour mark Rhodes kicked a second penalty goal in what turned out to be the final score of the match and the visitors failed to pick up a valuable bonus point.
Darlington 23 (Tries: C Lee, Miller, Lewis. Con: Kell. Pens: Kell 2.)
Dudley Kingswinford 5 (Try: Smart.)
Huge win for Darlington in their battle to get away from the relegation zone whilst the defeat sees Dudley seven points away from safety now.
David Kell kicked the home side 3-0 ahead with a 21st minute penalty goal. They also got a try in the first half with Craig Lee touching down in the 34th minute to lead 8-0 at the break.
In the second half they went 15-0 ahead when prop Dan Miller went over the DK line and Kell converted. Kell added a second penalty goal on 53 minutes and two minutes later try number three was scored when N0 8 Anthony Lewis scored.
The visitors did get a consolation try when replacement back Steven Smart went in for a try.
Rugby Lions 13 (Try: Hyslop. Con: Bond. Pens: Bond 2.)
Macclesfield 17 (Tries: Wheale 2, Campbell. Con: Newell.)
Both sides were desperate for a win in this match for totally different reasons. .
The visitors were first on the scoreboard when right wing Ben Wheale went in for a try and a 5-0 lead. Rugby were off the mark in the 10th minute when Glen Bond slotted over a penalty goal. Two minutes later they were ahead when centre Ricky Hyslop went over for a try and Bond converted. for a 10-5 lead.
The visitors were level in the 21st minute when winger Stephen Campbell went in for an unconverted try and it stayed like this till half time.
Wheale put Macclesfield ahead again in the 52nd minute and this time Michael Newell added the conversion for 17-10.
Bond pulled three points back in the 76th minute with a penalty goal in the final score of the match with Macclesfield picking up the win whilst Rugby Lions were left with a losing bonus point.
Bedford Athletic 16 (Tries: P Elphick, J Elphick. Pens: Tapper 2.)
Darlington Mowden Park 8 (Try: Phelan. Pen: Dixon.)
Bedford Athletic continue with their good home form with another home success as they defeat struggling Darlington Mowden Park who drop into the relegation zone for the first time this season.
Centre Phil Elphick give the home side the lead in the 15th minute with a try, Ashley Tapper fails to convert but does slot over a penalty goal in the 22nd minute for an 8-0 lead. DMP get on the scoreboard with a penalty goal three minutes later in the final score of the half.
11 minutes into the second half and the visitors were level when winger Peter Whelan went in for a try.
Just before the hour mark the home side went ahead again with Tapper slotting over a penalty goal.
They did not seal the win till the 74th minute when the other Elphick brother Jamie, a second half replacement, went in for a try.
New Brighton 15 (Tries: Planchant, Tuipulotu. Con: Dean. Pen: Dean.)
Cleckheaton 12 (Tries: Benton 2. Con: Akroyd.)
New Brighton won this tight contest with a late penalty goal but Cleckheaton did pick up a vital bonus point and are four points clear of the relegation zone.
The visitors were first on the scoreboard in the 17th minute when scrum half Scot Benton goes in for a try and Oliver Akroyd converted for 7-0. But two minutes later and New Brighton were on the scoreboard with a try from flanker Chris Planchant and they went in trailing by two points at the break.
In the second half the home side went ahead in the 48th minute when No 8 Katilimoni Tuipulotu crosses the Cleckheaton try line and Stephen Dean converts for 12-7.
Benton got a second try in the 66th minute and the scores were level at 12 all.
The winning score came in the 75th minute when Dean slotted over a penalty goal.
