The RFUW require all women & girl’s team’s to register before each season. In addition senior players playing in a league must be registered before they can play.
How do I affiliate my team?
The first step to affiliating your team is to read the senior affiliation process
Once you have familiarised yourself with the process please continue reading the information below.
New Team
You will need to complete a Development Plan with the help of your local regional WRDM (details can be found under contacts) along with Form 1, Form 18 & Form 5. The signature of your WRDM is also required. The completed forms should then be sent to the RFUW.
Existing Team
You will only need to complete a Development Plan when directed to by your WRDM, please contact them if you have any queries regarding this.
Please complete and send in Form 1 & Form 18 before 31st July 2008 for league rugby, and non league teams can affiliate throughout the season.
Form 2 can be used for affiliating a 3rd & 4th team
2008/09 Fee’s Information
In an effort to simplify affiliation and player registration fees we have introduced the following changes as shown in the table below.
§ 1st Team affiliation combines the Membership and League fees for league playing teams (Please note there is no increase from the 2007/08 season).
§ Player Registration will be a one off set fee based on the minimum number of players a team must have to meet the criteria for the league they are in. (There is no charge for any additional players over and above the minimum required, giving you the option to change and keep the money or not charge at all)
§ 2nd/3rd Team affiliation includes player registration.
§ Teams playing non league rugby ‘Friendlies’ will now be required to register players and pay a player registration fee.

League Rugby
Match report Form 6 should be completed by all league playing teams, and those senior teams which wish to play league rugby the following season as per league acceptance guidelines for 2008/09 season.

Change of details
Remember it is your responsibility to inform the RFUW of any change to your Club’s officials as early as possible. This will allow the RFUW to have an up to date mailing list which will ensure that your club receives all important information that is sent to you. In order to facilitate this please complete Form 9 and send it to the address on the form.
