The Inaugural Leicestershire Touch Rugby Festival
Commencing 6.30 pm on the 18th August 2005
Coalville RFC in Association with the RFU’s Community Rugby Department and the Matt Hampson Trust are holding a Mixed and Men’s Touch Rugby Festival at The Memorial Ground, Coalville RFC. Directions are available from http://www.coalvillerugby.co.uk/page2.html.
Mixed squads will be made up of 10 players with at least 2 women per team on the pitch at all times more women can be on the field if desired up to a maximum of 6 players in total. Men’s squads will be made up of 10 men with 6 on the pitch at any one time. Maximum squad size for both is 10 and substitutions are roll on roll off.
Cost will be £5.00 per player for the evening, with all entry fees to be donated to the Matt Hampson Trust. Although the emphasis will be on fun there will be trophies for the finalists
All proceeds from entry fee’s and raffles will go to the Matt Hampson Trust: Matt is a young Tigers player (pictured above) who suffered a severe spinal injury whilst training with the England U21’s squad preparing for the six nations
The Rugby World Cup will be available for Photographs throughout the evening as will the presence of a professional photographer
